The restaurant is under the new management right now! It was a grand opening today! The food is better than ever! Mimi is so lovely and kind. We got some appetizers and main. Basil friedrice is a must try! The ambience boast a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere with traditional Thai decor. Very recommended! If you’re looking for Thai food look no further than South Side!

Amazing experience! I had the spicy Pad Thai, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of heat. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly and attentive. I love this place and will definitely be coming back!

We heard South Side Thai recently reopened under new ownership, with a chef that we used to love from a restaurant that’s now closed. We found it to be the same food we knew and loved from the other spot! I had never been to South Side prior to this visit, so I can’t say how it compares to the previous ownership, but we were very happy with our meal here. The Choo Chee duck is one of our favorite dishes from this chef! The food arrived to the table quickly, and the new owners were friendly and welcoming. The dining room was clean and inviting. A great spot to know about in Wallingford for Thai food!

I had an amazing meal at this Thai restaurant! The Thai Tea Boba was perfectly sweet and creamy, a refreshing treat. The Papaya Salad was fresh and flavorful, with just the right balance of tangy and spicy. And the Chicken Pad Thai? Absolutely delicious! The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were spot on. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Thai food!
